Paula Snead, CNM

Paula Senner is a certified nurse midwife who graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in 1992. She has been serving the northern Virginia community for over 20 years. After relocating here in the late 1990’s, she worked as a labor nurse for several years while completing her Certificate in Midwifery from Frontier University. She then completed a Masters in Midwifery from Philadelphia University in 2003.

She has been committed to women’s healthcare for over two decades. Her professional interests include caring for women of all ages and diverse cultural backgrounds, with a special focus on women in their childbearing years. Being a nurse midwife has allowed her to deliver babies and watch them grow as they return to the office with their mother of the years, which is something she is so grateful to be part of. Nothing gives her greater joy that to know that she has touched the lives of so many families in this community.

Her personal interests keep her active and young as she pursues cycling, kayaking, and paddle boarding in her free time. She also enjoys time with her two boys who are grown and playing basketball or helping coach football with her life partner and his 4 children. Her life is full, and she would not have it any other way!
