Amy Rembold, PA
Amy Rembold is a certified Physician Assistant, having graduated from Shenandoah University with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies, including a focus on women’s health, in 2009. Prior to attending Shenandoah University, she graduated from Virginia Polytechnic University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science. While at Virginia Tech, Amy taught student education classes for the health center which led to her interest in patient education. Amy has 13 years of experience in providing care for women in Northern Virginia, including spending the past 12 years serving at Virginia Women’s Health Associates in Reston, Virginia.
As a physician assistant, Amy is able to take part in patient care during all walks of life. Physician assistants are able to perform physical exams, diagnose medical conditions, perform in office procedures, create treatment plans, and prescribe medication. Amy feels it is of the utmost importance to help all women feel comfortable as a patient and enjoys walking them through each stage of women’s health journey. Amy is a strong proponent of preventative medicine and looks forward to seeing her patients during their annual exam. She feels it is an honor to care for women throughout the unique and vulnerable time of pregnancy.
Amy is passionate about providing personalized patient care and patient education. One of the biggest joys of her career has been connecting with patients over many years and watching their families grow. She is thrilled to be a part of the Center for Midwifery and Women’s Health.
Amy has been married to her husband Brett for 13 years. They are Virginia locals, having both graduated from Chantilly High School. Amy is the loving mother of Eli (8) and Amber (7). They love spending time outdoors as a family.
