Amanda Carmen, CNM

 

Amanda is a Certified Nurse Midwife specializing in maternal health and comprehensive women's care with over 15 years of experience as a childbirth educator and doula. She brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to every patient interaction, particularly in supporting expectant families through their childbirth journeys.

 

Her career began in trauma care as a registered nurse, where she honed her skills in emergency situations and patient advocacy. Transitioning to labor and delivery, she spent five years empowering women during childbirth, ensuring safe and supportive experiences.

Driven by a commitment to expand her impact and fulfill a lifelong calling of becoming a midwife, Amanda pursued advanced education at Frontier Nursing University, earning a Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery in 2023.

Amanda offers specialized preconception and prenatal care, contraception planning, and menopause management, emphasizing preventive care and personalized treatment plans tailored to women of all ages.

Her approach integrates holistic principles with modern medical advancements, ensuring everyone receives individualized care that respects their preferences and cultural background. Amanda is committed to empowering women to make informed healthcare decisions and fostering a supportive environment where women feel heard, understood, and valued.

In her personal life, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, their five children, and two dogs. She also finds joy in hiking, spending time outdoors, cooking delicious food, reading, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
