Connie Van Baah, DNP, CNM
Hello Center for Midwifery & Women's Health family,
My name is Connie Van Baah. I am a Certified Nurse-Midwife I am very happy to be part of this wonderful organization.
I was born and raised in Ghana and arrived in the USA in 2004. I currently live in Chantilly, VA with my husband and three girls (a thirteen-year-old and 5-year-old twins).
I started my education with an associate degree in Science at Northern Virginia Community College. I earned my bachelor's degree in Nursing at George Mason University. Whilst working as a registered nurse, I pursued my nurse practitioner education in midwifery at Shenandoah University. I completed my midwifery certification in 2016. In early 2021, I completed my Doctor of Nursing degree (DNP) at James Madison University.
As a Certified Nurse-Midwife, I have assisted with births, provided prenatal, postpartum, and well-woman care, and much more. As a nurse, I have worked in medical oncology and have also served as a clinical coordinator at Reston Hospital.
I am very excited and honored to have the opportunity to be part of your OBGYN experience and to serve with this organization. Thank you very much for the opportunity, and I look forward to working with you all.
Sincerely,
Connie Van Baah, DNP, MSN, CNM
